Upon completion of high school, fashion editor Yana Kamps, born in the German countryside near Cologne, moved to London to attend the prestigious Central Saint Martins and the Chelsea College of Art and Design.  She finished her education at the renowned London College of Fashion in Oxford Circus with a BA in Fashion Design and Technology.

Yana then moved to New York and joined Andy Warhol’s Interview Magazine and eventually became Associate Fashion Editor.  During this time, she met iconic New York stylist Patti Wilson and forged a relationship that evolved into working with only Patti for many years, a training that resulted in a direct and focused exposure to the most exclusive brands, photographers, publications and celebrities in the industry.

“Fashion is in my blood.”  What differentiates Yana from other stylists is her understanding of how fashion is constructed and designed. “I am able to look at clothes beyond the surface.”  But it goes beyond that.  Fashion is a part of her DNA: her family has been in the textile and fashion industry for generations.

Now a successful stylist herself, Yana’s work has appeared in several publications including, but not limited to, Harper's Bazaar, French, Vogue Italia, Numero Tokyo, Tush, V Magazine, FLAIR and Muse Magazine; along with campaigns for MAC Cosmetics and Marie Saint Pierre.
